Tâne Mahuta or 'Lord of the Forest' in Maori. The beer is named after the 2,500 year old giant kauri tree in the Waipoua Forest of Northland Region, New Zealand. It's brewed with 100% New Zealand hops. Using the country's most bitter hops, Super Alpha for bittering and Green Bullet for aroma and flavour this is truly an NZ beer.
